In the Nick of Lime Original Painting
Artist Note: I started with a splash of lime green, added a little pink, a little black, and let everything find its own way. Nothing planned, nothing perfect. Just layers of color falling beautifully into place on this 11 x 14 original on canvas, framed in bleached oak. I love the idea that the most unexpected things can turn out to be exactly what you needed.
Why We Love It: Glossy lime shapes sit against a pale, buttery ground, with a few black marks dropped in like punctuation.
