Looking Glass began as an art blotter, a place for wiping brushes, clearing color, and releasing excess paint. What started as a byproduct became the beginning. Layers of spontaneous marks, accidental blends, and leftover gestures formed the foundation, and from there, the painting took on a life of its own. What was background becomes the subject. This piece is about transformation, about seeing possibility in what’s overlooked. It invites you to look closer, to find meaning in the layers, to notice how something unplanned can evolve into something intentional and alive.Looking Glass is raw, intuitive, and deeply personal, a celebration of process, perspective, and the beauty of what happens when you keep going.
